If math 27 is your first math course at Everett, you need to take the math placement test prior to enrollment. The following scores are necessary for enrollment in Math 27:

• ASSET placement test score:
• Numerical skills: 43 - 52; Never have taken any algebra.
• Elementary Algebra: 23 - 29; Should have had at LEAST one algebra course in high school or college.
• Intermediate Algebra: 23 - 28; Those who have taken intermediate algebra (high school algebra 3 & 4) within last 5 years.
• COMPASS placement test score:
• Pre-algebra: 50 - 100
• Algebra: 30 - 50
