blood cells This course introduces the fundamentals of cellular biology, including cell structure and metabolism, cell division, DNA replication, protein synthesis and ciliatesgenetics. Relevant topics of special interest such as cancer, AIDS, genetic engineering, and DNA fingerprinting are discussed. In the laboratory, students are provided with hands-on experience with the process of science and with course topics.

Note for Fall 2004: I am not teaching Cellular Biology this quarter, so this page is not being actively maintained.
